I downloaded ffmpeg X (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ffmpegX) to hardcode subtitles on my project, and it works perfectly for that. However on playback there is NO Sound!
I've tried different sound options but it still wont work. HELP!

Using MKV X264, High settings, Slower, 2pass 11000 for BD. etc Its doing the task in around 8-10 hours.

I have a problem with mp4 files, which i'm trying to convert to AVI files with VirtualDub (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Virtualdub) software.
The thing is, when i open the mp4 file: the video is OK, but the audio sounds like a really slow motion movie (or slow playback) .... Why Is My Capture Card Deinterlacing My Progressive Video? - Every time I record in 480p my capture card(component cables) seems to try to deinterlace it(or something?). When this happens, it results in flickering edges, kind of like aliasing. I'll provide a an example to show you what I;m talking about. Also, I've ran this through MeGUI ... I want to encode videos using DV to xVid. Working with DV is not an option. Don't suggest buying a large hard drive, getting a new computer or anything that suggests I should work with DV.
Would this be a good workflow? ::
